Our first day of planting! We have local families and a group of neighborhood children that are planting and tending
their own vegetable garden! This is a free oppurtunity provided by Education Play Station in collaboration with the Bartow
Master Gardeners. Three local businesses have contributed thus far: Ace Hardware (financial support to cover some equipment
costs), NorthSide Bank (gardening tools and seeds), and United Community Bank (tomato plants).
We have a community garden on the grounds of Education Play Station! Families
and local children have their own plots of land to tend to! We planted in May and now in June we are steadily reaping a beautiul
harvest!
