Megan E. Mingone, M.S., CCC-SLP

Owner and Director of Education Play Station, Speech Language Pathologist

Megan is the owner and director of Education Play Station. She has a B.S. in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and a Minor in Education from University of Florida. She also holds an M.S. in Medical Speech Language Pathology from New York Medical College. She has worked at various establishments such as Space Coast Early Intervention Center, Blythedale Children's Hospital, Westchester Medical Center, The School for Special Children and as a private practicioneer. Megan is a member of American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA), M.A.M.A., and Kindermusik International. She is a certified Speech Language Pathologist as well as a certified Kindermusik educator.

Dr. Christopher J. Mingone

Science Teacher

Dr. Christopher Mingone is a lead scientist at CryoLife, Inc. Chris currently researches cyropreservation of human heart valves and arteries. He holds a B.S. in Biotechnology, M.S. in Physiology, and Ph.D in Physiology. He will be teaching Science Classes and Summer Camps.

Crystal Purser, Preschool Teacher and Kindermusik Educator

Crystal is our 3-year old Preschool Teacher and one of our Kindermusik educators. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Covenant College. She has a 20 year history working with various children's ministries. She has been a director of a local preschool and a parent-involvement coordinator at Calhoun Elementary. Crystal adds a smile to every room with her vibrant personality. We are blessed to have to a wonderful addition to our team!

Shannon Higgenbotham, Tumbling Instructor and Homeschool Teacher

Keith Hamilton, TaeKwonDo Instructor

Rosemary Turner, Dance Instructor

Previous director and lead instructor of Steps of Faith in Tucker, GA. She has over 11 years in the dance ministry as an instructor and we are excited to let her take over our Children’s dance classes!

Rick Langston, Guitar Instructor

Singer/songwriter spent 25 years in Nashville, TN, 18 of those playing bass guitar/singing harmony on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. Rick will be teaching our guitar classes and offering some unique song writing and singing courses!

Sheri Medley, M.S., CCC-SLP

A Certified Speech-Language Pathologist, she will be joining our therapy group! Sheri will be available for Speech and Language evaluations and therapy services!

Georgie Smith, Office Staff

A previous daycare director and mom of homeschooled twins. She will be working in our office to assist with registration, advertising and customer relations.

Marilyn Barnes, Office manager

Mother of Megan Mingone (owner of Education Play Station). Marilyn has over 35 years experience running a family-owned business.
